02.08-10.2007: Antares 20E at the 2007 SSA Convention in Memphis, Tennessee
The 2007 SSA Convention in Memphis, Tennessee included the first public display of an Antares 20E on American soil.

The daily presentation of the aircraft drew large crowds.
Gordon Boettger, the first gliderpilot to achieve a 2000K flight in the northern hemisphere, was one of many who tried on an Antares.
Phil Bredesen, the Governor of Tennessee is also an enthusiastic gliderpilot. He, too, could not let a test of the Antares cockpit pass him by.
The Antares 20E on display belongs to Mr. Dave Nadler; he is also the North American representative for Lange Flugzeugbau GmbH. The aircraft had arrived in the United States a few days before the exhibition, and will in the future also be used for customer test flights. In USA, Antares have now been delivered to customers in Massachusetts and Arizona, with deliveries soon to Florida, Oregon, and California..
