HALE
EA 42 and derivative systems are highly suited for true HALE (High Altitude, Long Endurance) applications. The performance of the motor does not reduce with altitude, and it delivers full power and thigh torque over a wide range of rpm, which allows for efficient propellers also at high altitudes. So far, Lange Aviation GmbH has delivered EA42 to EA42 to one HALE project.
